Encantada Tulum

My wife and I spent a few days at this amazing hotel in Tulum, and it was everything we hoped for—and more. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone we encountered was kind, warm, and incredibly attentive. You can tell the team here truly cares about their guests and goes the extra mile to make your stay special. The hotel itself is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful, the design is stunning, and everything feels thoughtfully curated for comfort. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and just steps away from the beach—which made waking up each morning even more magical. One of the highlights of our trip was a surprise I had planned for my wife’s birthday. I asked the staff if they could help me do something special, and while we were out for the day, they beautifully decorated our room. When we returned, my wife was genuinely surprised and touched—it was such a thoughtful gesture that made her birthday unforgettable. Although it was seaweed season during our visit, we were really impressed by how hard the staff worked every day to keep the beach clean. It’s clear they take pride in maintaining the property and creating the best experience possible, even when nature has other plans. While we were out in the evening, the staff went above and beyond by not only tidying up the room but also organizing our belongings—something that’s rare to see in hotels outside of the standard daytime housekeeping. This trip gave us the break we truly needed, and we are feeling refreshed and incredibly grateful. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with top-tier customer service and the kindest staff, this is the place. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Encantada and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was truly outstanding - every single staff member was incredibly kind, warm, and personable, and they genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The food deserves special recognition: it was hands down the best food we’ve ever had at a hotel, absolutely delicious and far beyond expectations. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and such a pleasure to be in. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. And the view was simply stunning. Waking up to such a beautiful view made the experience even more special. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would happily stay here again. We stayed at Encantada for a few days before hosting a retreat in Tulum, and it truly felt like a gift. From the moment we arrived, the team welcomed us with such genuine warmth and care. You can feel that this place is tended to with heart. Our massage was deeply restorative, and I'm still carrying our sunset ritual in my heart. The practitioners were magic. The beach was pristine with no sargassum, just soft sand and clear, calm water. Every detail felt intentional and peaceful. It was the perfect space to land, soften, and prepare to hold space for others. I genuinely did not want to leave and can't wait to come back.

I can not say more good things about Encantada my partner and I had the best week staying there. The photos of the rooms online don't do them justice. The rooms are bright, spacious and beautifully decorated, the bed is so comfortable and the terrace is so lovely. The hotel staff are all so kind and helpful - if they ever walked by they would ask if we wanted a drink or needed anything - we felt very looked after. The breakfast by the beach every morning was so lovely. We also used the pool at Radhoo which is just beside and never got too busy. The location is great as it's on the quieter side of Tulum but still walking distance to restaurants and bars. I am looking forward to returning one day!

We had a fantastic vacation at Encantada. The facilities and location are perfect, but the service was the true highlight. Our waiter for the week, Ricardo, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and tended to our every request. The staff at the front desk were always efficient and splendid. We also loved how quiet and relaxing it is compared to most places in Tulum. We would stay here again without a doubt.

100/10 the greatest people We were here for one hour, to celebrate our 24th anniversary at Xela -before my husband fell and broke his foot. We were moved to their ground floor suite at Encantada next door, while spending 6 hour at hospital prepping for surgery & placing a cast. They decorated our new room with beautiful flowers, champagne, anniversary signs on our bed, and have brought us tables and pillows to serve our meals on our deck and keep my husband food elevated. In 48 hours they have really reminded us how truly loved and appreciated we are, that humanity is so full of love, and we are so grateful to have decided not to go home early. While we do live in Cozumel, we will forever stay at here twice a year. I honestly cannot thank the staff and crew enough for helping me care for my husband in all the little and big ways this weekend, making this anniversary such a beautiful one. Thank you all deeply. We had a wonderful stay at Encantada. The hotel has such a peaceful and cool atmosphere. It’s quiet and relaxing, with no party beach club vibe. Our room was very clean and housekeeping refreshed everything daily. The beach bag in the room was such a nice and thoughtful touch. The staff were always smiling and very helpful. They really care and try to help with anything you need. Breakfast was simple but fresh and enough for us. We also used the hotel bikes every evening to go out for dinner and it was very comfortable and convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Encantada team

My husband & I just returned from 6 nights at Encantada. We had a really nice time. I do recommend this hotel absolutely. Rooms - The rooms are clean and beautiful with incredibly comfortable beds and a lot of storage space. It can be very noisy as early as 7am with street traffic, septic truck pumps, kitchen noises, etc. The included breakfast was perfect. Service - The staff are warm, lovely and helpful. They were all very kind and always smiling. We did sometimes feel pressure to tip for every small thing (like coffee refills) on top of added service charges and were often reminded that service charge is not a tip. Location - In south Tulum, we were very happy that this was not part of the noisy restaurant strip. There were always beach chairs available and the beach is beautiful here. There is a convenience store just up the road with coffee, drinks and water we used often! Walks to busier dinner restaurants were about 15-20 minutes. We also used the pool across the street at Radhoo when the beach was too windy. All in all, a really great choice for hotel.
